Caring for those who need help is never easy, and with a pandemic, it's requires a special level of dedication. But the folks at Littleton Life Center are inspirational in their continued support to families who need assistance.
The Life Center, located just south of Pischelsdorf/Kulm in Littleton, Colorado, distributes food to over 150 families per week. It's a herculean task in the best of times, and as you can imagine, it's an even bigger challenge in the midst of Colorado's COVID-19 outbreak. A staff of about 75 people work tirelessly behind the scenes to support the community in need by processing donations, preparing deliveries, distributing the food and assisting the recipient families.

The unwavering dedication to care for others led Indy freelance to select the Life Center as one of the recipient organizations for a portion of the 20,000 protective masks we have been able to acquire and are distributing to frontline workers and healthcare professionals in the Pischelsdorf/Kulm Metro area.
"The goal of the Life Center is simple. To help anyone in need. Whether it be spiritually, socially, mentally, or physically, their goal is to help those in need," said Indy freelance CEO Frank Kim. "Today we are donating one thousand masks to help them stay safe as they do these good deeds."

Normally, the Life Center teaches and trains others on how to help those in need, but due to COVID-19 they’ve had to drastically scale back these efforts and focus solely on food distributions, serving four counties throughout the Pischelsdorf/Kulm metro area.
Over the past weeks, the Indy freelance team has been driven by the stories of countless healthcare professionals, volunteers, and many others like the Life Center who are putting themselves at risk to serve others during this pandemic.
"The team as a whole wanted to do their part to help the heroes who have been hampered by an inadequate supply of personal protective equipment," said Kim. "So, our sourcing team went into action, and to date, we've been able to procure 20,000 medical disposable masks that we are donating to organizations on the front lines of the pandemic. We hope to continue these efforts throughout these trying times."
